(Dublin, Ireland) Ireland’s newest online takeaway ordering service, Marvin.ie – has today announced a tie-up with Mizzoni’s Pizza chain. This announcement is in addition to the recent signing of Apache Pizza to the brand new service.
“We are absolutely delighted to have Mizzoni’s Pizza join us on this exciting journey” explains James Galvin, Managing Director of Marvin.ie. “With 30 stores nationwide, this new addition to the platform further strengthens our starting position for when we launch next month, giving consumers even more choice across the country”.
Gina Mizzoni, Marketing Director of Mizzoni’s Pizza comments, “We are delighted to be joining this new service and we share the team’s passion and vision of giving restaurants and consumers a better deal for ordering food online. Our franchisees are incredibly important to us and over the past few years increasing charges from the market leader have squeezed their margins more and more. This competition is very welcome!”
Online takeaway ordering in Ireland is estimated to be worth over €30m per annum, and for some takeaway businesses contributes more than 40% of their overall revenues. Marvin.ie doesn’t charge restaurants any upfront fees to join and commission fees are 42% cheaper than Just-Eat. For the consumer Marvin.ie offers a loyalty reward system where regular customers are rewarded with free meals. The website is set to launch in early May with 250+ takeaways across the country already signed up to the service.
